Happy Happy New Year everybody!
I think it’s always important to stat the year off positively and although 2016 was a whirlwind of good and bad and I eagerly wait to see what 2017 has in store. I met so many wonderful people from all around the world, learned to live in and love a different county and culture to my own and began the final year of my degree. Through all the hard-ships and struggles, worldwide and personally, I am still grateful for all the good this year has brought me.
I seriously thought about not making set of resolutions as, to be honest, I never keep them. Yet I wonder whether it is really about keeping to them or not. My resolutions last year were arguably ambitious but they inspired me throughout the year to better myself and improve. Did I keep them? Nope, I broke them before January was over. Yet when looking back on them I realise that just because I wasn’t successful in sticking my resolutions completely, that doesn’t disregard the improvements I did make.
My 2016 Goals:
I’m pretty happy with my achievements over the last year and so as I write up my New Years Resolutions for 2017, I want them to build on the progress of 2016 rather than make me start from the bottom again for a ‘new me’ that really isn’t very realistic.
My 2017 Goals:
Here’s to an amazing 2017!
